machu picchu by car an alternative tour for all travelers who want to visit machu picchu and enjoy in just 2 days and at a low cost.
Day 1 Cuzco - Aguas Calientes
Ollantaytambo temple of the sun
We will start our tour from your hotel or hostel at 7:00 am to start the journey aboard the minibus that will take us to Hidroeléctrica. During the way we will make a stop of 20 minutes in the town of Ollantaytambo where you will have some free time, after that we will continue with our route towards Santa Teresa.

Hydroelectric Station
Hydroelectric for approximately 4 hours arriving around 2:00 pm to have our lunch. Arriving at the Hydroelectric this point of the journey the road ends, so we will have two options for the arrival at Aguas Calientes: walking the route that takes advantage of the layout of the train tracks (a walk of two and a half hours through the jungle) or taking the train to Aguas Calientes (Inca Rail or Peru Rail in Expedition class) which makes a 30 minute journey.

Pueblo Aguas Calientes Day
We will arrive with a transfer to Aguas Calientes and once there we will have to walk for 15 minutes more to the hotel where we will have our dinner and talk with the guide where they will agree on the meeting point for the next day. During the night you will have time to get to know the town and enjoy the thermal baths (cost S/. 10.00).

Day 2 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cuzco
Pueblo Aguas Calientes Night
On this day we will get up very early to have breakfast, then we will have to walk for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu for about 30 minutes. Upon arrival we will enjoy one of the best moments of the tour: watching the sunrise.

Machu Picchu with Waynapicchu Mountain
We will make the excursion with the guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu, during 2 hours. Then they will be given free time where they will be able to give a stroll to the citadel, The passengers that have the visit to the Mountain Machu picchu | Huaynapicchu will have to go to the entrance where they will have to raise during 1 hour 30 minutes and to visit for a prudent time.

Return from Machu Picchu
After returning from Machu Picchu we will have to walk back for about 3 hours or you can also take the train for 30 minutes to Hidroelectrica, there we will be waiting for the minibus with our name, then will take us back to Cuzco for about 6 hours with the transport, where we will arrive approximately to Cusco around 10:00 pm which will end in the Plaza San Francisco.
