Introduccion
The 3 Day Inca Jungle Tour is an alternative with adventure sports such as cycling, canoeing, zip line that will take us to Machu Picchu.
Visiting coca and coffee plantations. Also we will be able to appreciate animals of diverse species. This route was thought for those who like walking, adventure and adrenaline.
Day 1 Cusco - Bicicleta - Rafting - Santa Maria
Inca Trail Bicycle
We will start the Inca Jungle tour around 5:30 am our transport will come to pick you up along with our guide to their respective hostels and / or meeting place. Then we will continue to Ollantaytambo, where we will have breakfast for approximately 30 minutes. At the end of the breakfast we will continue towards Abra Málaga at 4.200 m.a.s.l. From there we will begin our journey by bicycle of approximately 4 hours crossing streams and rivers to reach the city of Huamanmarca.
If you do not opt for this activity you will be able to continue in the transport that will go along with the group.
Rafting in Santa Teresa
Then we will travel by bus to Santa Maria where we will enjoy lunch before starting our part of the kayak trip (For those who chose as an additional option at the time of booking). The sport of kayaking lasts approximately two hours. At the end of the activity, the group will take the bus to Santa Teresa (1 hour drive). Upon arrival in Santa Teresa to the hostel where you will stay for your stay and spend the night. Dinner will be served at a restaurant in Santa Teresa.
Zip Line Santa Teresa
After a sunrise in the Inca jungle, we will taste an exquisite breakfast, we will depart from Santa Teresa (those who have booked Tirolesa will be taken to the starting point of this activity) and after this they will be transported by bus to Hidroeléctrica. Those who do not participate in the activity will continue the walk for approximately three hours to the hydroelectric plant, where we will meet the rest of the group. Then everyone in the group will enjoy lunch.
Day 2 Santa Tereza - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
Inca Jungle Trek
At the end of the day we will continue with the walk through the trails of the Inca Jungle for 3 hours to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), where the guide will accommodate us in their respective accommodations. The group will be taken to a local restaurant for dinner while they receive information about the next day's Machu Picchu excursion.
Guided View in Machu Picchu
At dawn we get up around 4:00 a.m. where we will receive a small Box Lunch, to go to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, the walk will last an hour and a half (if you feel tired you can skip the walk and take the bus). We will enter the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided tour of the main points of Machu Picchu for approximately two hours. At the end you will have time to visit Machu Picchu individually or climb the mountains (Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu) if you have your reservation made.
Bus tickets to Machu Picchu can be purchased in the town of Aguas Calientes or can be purchased in advance with us.
Machu Picchu Cusco
After the visit you will return to Aguas Calientes.
In the town of Aguas Calientes you will have time to enjoy a delicious meal or drink. Once on the train, you will arrive at Ollantaytambo station, where our staff will be waiting for you to return to Cusco, leaving travelers near your hotel.
A very important note to keep in mind is that you must be at the station half an hour before the departure of your train.
