Itinerary

  1. Introduccion

    Inca Jungle trek 4 days, Mountain bike tour to sleep with a cozy local family of the jungle, zipline (zip line), hiking (hiking) and we will discover recently discovered Inca roads. Finally, the tour ends in one of the seven wonders of the world, chosen the best travel destination by National Geographic: Machu Picchu.

  1. Day 1 Cusco - Bicicleta - Rafting - Santa Maria

    We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:30am, start the adventure bus. We will arrive at Abra Malaga at 11 am, which is our starting point. There we will get ready with the bicycle protection equipment and then start the 65 km (3 hours) bicycle route to Huamanmarca, where the transport that will take us to the village of Santa Maria will be waiting for us.

    Let's have lunch in Santa Maria and then rest and continue the adventure, we offer two options: one would be to stay in the hostel to unload or rafting to a point very close to Santa Maria "rafting is available in the extras ($ 30.00)".   2. Day 2 Santa Maria - Quellomayo - Santa Teresa

    we will leave at 6:00 a.m. after enjoying a breakfast, we will begin the walk that crosses part of the Inca Trail. On the way we will be able to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the place, in addition to observing many species of birds and a wide range of orchids and fruit trees. Remember that this area of Cusco, the edge of the Amazon jungle, has one of the richest areas with biological diversity on the planet, in the small village of Kellomayo we will have a refreshing lunch.

    The thermal baths of Santa Teresa (Cocalmayo) which are medicinal and therapeutic waters. After the relaxing we will continue with our 40 minute walk to the town of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night in a family lodge.

  3. Day 3 Santa Tereza - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes

    Aguas Caliente to Machu Picchu

    Our arrival to Aguas Calientes will leave our luggage at the lodge and we will have free time to know the town, its market or simply relax with a bath in its hot springs ($5.00). At the end of the afternoon we will meet again the whole group. We will have dinner in a restaurant and plan with the guide for the next day, when we will visit Machu Picchu.

    We will discover surprising new things along the way. After a comfortable breakfast in the town of Santa Teresa you will have the opportunity to make the Zip line or canoping separating (optional - $30.00) from the group temporarily and then meet again and continue the journey to the hydroelectric bus with the group.

    Travelling by the Train

    We will arrive at Hidroeléctrica and eat in one of the restaurants before the last stage of our way: a 9 km route that runs next to the train tracks, located at the bottom of an incredible valley in which the vegetation has already completely transformed into high jungle (here we will have the option to take the train, $30.00) or walk for about 3 hours to hot water.

  4. Day 4 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco

    On the fourth day around 4:00 a.m. we will get ready to head to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu a way up through the jungle, thus having the opportunity to see the sunrise, after registering at the park control, 6:20 a.m. will appreciate the sunrise while luck accompanies us, We also offer the option of boarding the bus ($24.00 roundtrip).
